Professional qualifications & memberships

Mark has been in clinical practice for seven years. His clients include senior business executives, stay at home mums and artists and performers.

Mark is qualified as a Contemporary Psychotherapist and is a member of the Community for Contemporary Psychotherapy. He studied at Regent's College in London, which is a renowned centre of excellence in Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy, and continues to further his training at various institutions both in the UK and USA.

He is an NLP Master Practitioner and member of the International Association of NLP Trainers.  He is also qualified in Clinical Hypnotherapy and holds memberships of both The Hypnotherapy Association and The UK Hypnotherapy Register.


Media work

Mark appears regularly on TV and radio both in the UK and internationally.   His TV work includes BBC World News TV, BBC One and he was the Coach and Trainer and on the hit TV series "The Biggest Loser", which has been broadcast worldwide. This is a weight-loss show where contestants actually do lose weight and with Mark's help, one winner Aaron Howlett shed 10 stone in 20 weeks.

On radio, Mark has been the resident Psychological Coach and Trainer on LBC 97.3 in London. He can often be heard on BBC 5 Live and across the BBC's local radio network.

Mark has written extensively for a broad range of publications on topics ranging from stress management to back pain to the impact on the body of sleep deprivation.

Life before Psychotherapy......

Before training as a Psychotherapist and Coach, Mark worked in television as a producer and presenter. He was a senior producer at GMTV and ITV's This Morning, working on news, showbiz and lifestyle features. He presented shows on ITV and BBC, including SwapTeam and Gate 24. Mark was also Head of Broadcasting for ChoicesUK tv.

Mark is passionate about health and fitness and is qualified as a Level 3 trainer with the Register of Exercise Professionals. He has written extensively on the subject with much of his work being based on the link between mental and physical well-being.
